Dr. Philip Latteier
Owner
Dr. Philip J. Latteier is excited to be the new owner of Midnight Sun Dental and to lead our Anchorage dental group. Dr. Latteier grew up in Orange County California. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree, then completed his DDS at the University of Southern California. After graduation he kept with the family tradition of military service and served in the US Army Dental Corps.
Upon leaving active duty he moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where he built his private practice. After 10 years in Colorado, and having grown the dental group to four partners in multiple locations, Dr. Latteier had the opportunity to come to Midnight Sun Dental and a new adventure!
Tanner Menard
DDS
Dr. Tanner Menard grew up right here in Alaska! He was born in Anchorage and raised in the Matanuska Valley. He attended Colony High School and was an active member of many academic and athletic activities including student government, National Honor Society, and the varsity basketball and soccer programs.
Dr. Menard attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!) and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He stayed in the “dairy state” to attend dental school and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) in May of 2022.
Dr. Menard is very excited to return home to Alaska! He is a third-generation Alaskan dentist and is honored to continue the legacy of his grandfather and parents. He is excited to establish relationships with his patients and grow in his career
Dr. Menard is married to his wonderful wife, Taylor, whom he met while at school in Madison, WI. Taylor is a Physician Assistant practicing in Anchorage.
Outside of the office, Dr. Menard loves being active and exploring the beauty of Alaska. He will take on any adventure but particularly enjoys hiking, fishing, traveling and cheering on his Wisconsin Badgers.
He is eager to put his dental experience and knowledge to use. His goal is to make each visit a positive experience and he looks forward to meeting you!
